Cerebellar preparation from above. In the middle, the superior cerebellar peduncle (1) and the white matter (2), lateral to it the quadrangular lobule (3) and horizontal fissure (4) are visible. At right, note the white laminae (5), the fibres of the medullary body (6) and the cerebellar cortex (7). At the top, the origin of the trochlear nerve (8) and the middle cerebellar peduncle (9) can be studied.
