Right popliteal fossa. At top, notice the lower part of the opening on the Adductor magnus (1) through which the popliteal artery (4) and vein come down to the popliteal fossa (5). Medial to these vessels, find the Semimembranosus (3), while lateral to them, the sciatic nerve can be observed (2). Even more down below, the division of the sciatic nerve can also be seen giving rise to the tibial nerve (6) and common peroneal nerve (8). The deepermost part of the popliteal fossa is to be found in between these two branches (7). In addition, the fascia cruris (9), the lateral head of the Gastrocnemius (11) and the Biceps femoris can also be seen below (10).
